Our sustainable future: energy, development and life

General information:

I should probably provide some more information on myself. I am currently a graduate student at The Fletcher School in Boston (or rather Medford) studying International Environment andNatural Resource Policy and International Business.

As you can probably tell from my two fields of study I really believe in the power of the private sector in answering a lot of our current global energy and development challenges. [I certainly don't feel this way about international security issues though].

Specifically my interest run the gamut from the all sorts of concepts and debates around Energy, to CO2 emissions, to development and back. I am particularly interested in how the implementation of clean energy in emerging markets can help solve both the challenges of equitable economic development and provide solutions for the future role of developing countries in climate change policy.

I’ll also probably include more esoteric stuff on this blog: entertainment or general current affairs.

To give you a more human feel for who I am here is a picture of some of my good friends from Fletcher celebrating of all things my birthday this summer.

Stay tuned.
